WLA Offering Independent Engineering Review for Renewable Fuel Standard

In February 2010, the EPA published revisions to the National Renewable Fuel Standard program (RFS 2).  This revision includes new requirements for producers of renewable fuels, and set a July 1, 2010 deadline for re-registration of facilities to be allowed to generate Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs).   For grandfathered facilities, the deadline is December 31, 2010.

The new standard also calls for an independent third-party review of certain elements of the registration by a Professional Chemical Engineer.  WLA provides these independent reviews as required by the EPA.  Our chemical engineers are registered in multiple states, and have many years of experience in process and biofuels engineering.  Contact Tom or Fred at 402-991-5833 for more information about how we can help you meet pending deadline and comply with this regulation.
