Nebraska Counties 

Professional Environmental Solutions (PES) and WLA have formed a partnership to provide professional services for Swine Livestock Waste Control Facilities in Nebraska.  WLA completed the engineering planning, layout and design for the facilities.  Designs typically include swine buildings with shallow pits, piping and waste lagoons, or deep-pit swine buildings.  WLA also assisted in the coordination of surveying and geotechnical testing activities and prepares the state operating and construction permit applications.  Construction inspection services are provided to protect the integrity of the designs.  Projects completed or in progress to date include:

• Stanton County Farrowing West - Stanton County  (4,000 finishing swine)
• Nebraska Pork Partners - Holbrook City Pork - Furnas County  (9,525 nursery & finishing swine)
• Thomas Livestock Company - Dawson County - Dawson County  (17,180 nursery & finishing swine)
• Brester Livestock Operation - Stanton County  (2,500 finishing swine)
• Thomas Livestock Company - Buffalo - Dawson County  (8,590 nursery & finishing swine)
• Premier Pork II - Beaver Creek Site - Holt County  (4,800 finishing swine)
• Sandy Land, LLC - Holt County  (2,800 finishing swine)
• Novak Pork - Stanton County  (4,800 finishing swine)
• Thomas Livestock Company - Pigeon Ranch - Dawson County  (8,532 nursery, breeding & gestation swine)
• Griess and Son’s Facility - Clay County  (7,366 breeding & gestation swine)
