WLA provided engineering design services for the wastewater pump station at The Sanctuary residential development near West Center Road and 222nd Streets for Lanoha Development Company. Wastewater generated from this development basin and adjacent areas to be developed in the future will be collected and pumped into the City of Omaha collection sewer system at Skyline Woods. This project consists of three primary elements including interior lift stations, a regional pump station and the outfall sewer/force main. The regional pump station has integrated primary treatment, including sedimentation and in-line grinding, rotary lobe positive displacement pumps to overcome low flow (70 gpm)/high head (200 ft head) conditions and a dual/parallel force main system to adjust for increasing flows due to basin development.  An aesthetically pleasing design was required to maintain the appearance of this upscale housing development.
