City of Wilber, NE Clarifier Mechanism Replacement

Wilber, NE
WLA was tasked by the City of Wilber, Nebraska to design new clarifier mechanisms for its wastewater treatment plant. This project was a milestone for WLA in that it represented the first WLA wastewater treatment plant design project to reach completion. The clarifiers are 22-feet in diameter and approximately 12-feet deep. One new feature of this project was the use of non-metallic weirs that were constructed of fiber re-inforced plastic (FRP) that will resist corrosion for years to come.
